About the AMUN Foundation

The AMUN Foundation—an acronym for Agriculture, Markets, Unity, and Nature—is a non-profit organization created by diverse stakeholders in the agricultural, scientific, and production ecosystem. Its purpose is to promote the sustainable development of agriculture and strengthen the link between agriculture, innovation, community, and territory.

Founded in the context of organizing the International Oat Conference 2026 in Chile—the world’s leading event dedicated to oats—AMUN’s mission extends beyond this international milestone, establishing itself as a permanent platform for collaboration, knowledge transfer, and networking among the various actors in the agri-food chain.

The foundation promotes initiatives focused on research and development, sustainable production, technical education, and the creation of spaces for dialogue that foster the exchange of experiences, learning, and innovation applied to the agricultural sector.

With a special focus on rural communities in central and southern Chile, AMUN seeks to contribute to territorial development through open training programs, technical activities, international partnerships, and initiatives that connect agriculture to markets and new global demands, always with a collaborative and sustainable approach.

In keeping with the spirit of the International Oat Conference, the AMUN Foundation works to position Chile as an international leader in sustainable agricultural production, innovation, and cooperation between science, industry, and the community.
